Colour Line & Form Composition No.2

Description

This painting is part of a series of works where I have been exploring the key elements of artistic expression.

Colour, line, form, texture, shape, value, and space are the seven core elements of art.  They often overlap and inform one another.

In this painting my key objective was to explore the visual effects of slanting lines in thin layers of acrylic inks, using warm reds, oranges and ochres with contrasting blues, purples and the occasional darker tone.
