This painting is part of a series of works where I have been exploring my response to the work of M.C. Escher, which was exhibited some years ago at The Dulwich Picture Gallery, London. The repetition of intricate patterns and his fascination and interest in geometric shapes and patterns were my inspiration for this painting.
