Description
This painting is part of a series of works where I have been exploring the key elements of artistic expression.
Shape, line, colour, form, value, space, and texture are the seven core elements of art. They often overlap and inform one another.
In this painting my key objective was to explore the visual effects of overlapping shapes, mainly circles, semi-circles and rectangles in tandem with cool green colours and a hint of contrasting purple hues all built up from many thin layers of acrylic inks.
