Description

This painting is part of a series of works where I have been exploring the possibilities of creating rhythms within key elements of artistic expression.

Shape, colour, line, form, texture, value, and space are the seven core elements of art.  They often overlap and inform one another.

In this painting my key objective was to create visual rhythms with the circles and squares, The cool blues, yellow ochres and dark blues were all carefully balanced in thin layers of acrylic paint and designed to pulsate,
